Fashion Show

Friday was our Family Day and it always reminds me of the school annual days. I have been attending the family day after 2 years and was really shocked to see the crowd that has increased many folds. Earlier we used to be a close knit family where everyone knew everyone else and sometimes even their families. But this time I was totally lost in the crowd and had to really search for some familiar faces :(

Photography wise also it was challenging because of the low light and fast movements. I increased the ISO and luckily not much noise.

I was thinking ur family must be really hip to have a fashion day on ur 'family day'! Then I saw the 'kia Siemen tworks' in the picture :))

Abt the photography part, I've found the weddings and shows very difficult to capture, especially with SLR cameras ... this one has come out well

In the storm of life we struggle through myriads of stimuli of pressure, stress, and muti-problems that seek for a solution and answer. We are so suppressed by the routine of this every life style that most of us seem helpless. However, if we look closely to ancient techniques we shall discover the magnificent way to understand and realize the ones around us and mostly ourselves. If only we could stop for a moment and allow this to happen…

As Sandeep said, its very difficult to capture weddings and shows. My technique in these cases is follow the light provided by the video guy or the lighting guys. Do not use flash, it will come good. You might have seen this and this.

The second one was total shake with no flash. But some how I made an ok one. Thanks to Picasa. Google Rules :)

"kia Siemens" Any chance you work in PTP?

@ Dhanush : Yeh I was also banging on the flood lighting :) i am also not a fan of flash. It changes the effect of colors on the subject totally :(
What is PTP? (now u know I don't work in that area for sure ;) )
